A chieftain and concerned stakeholder within the Oyo State political space, Comrade Adesile Oloyede Abraham, has joined the growing list of well-wishers congratulating Otunba Oluseye Opatoki, the Oyo State 2027 governorship aspirant, as he marks his birthday anniversary.


> In a warm felicitation message, Comrade Abraham described Otunba Opatoki as a remarkable leader of note — a man whose conduct in public life, commitment to the people, and exemplary character have consistently set him apart as one of the most distinguished personalities in Oyo State's political and civic landscape.


The comrade noted that Otunba Opatoki's birthday is a moment to celebrate not just a man, but a movement — one built on sincerity of purpose, grassroots solidarity, and a deep-rooted passion for the transformation of Oyo State.

"Otunba Oluseye Opatoki is a remarkable leader in every sense of the word. > He offered prayers for the celebrant, asking the Almighty to grant Otunba Opatoki divine wisdom, excellent health, long life, and resounding success on his governorship quest ahead of the 2027 general elections, expressing confidence that the aspirant's finest hour is imminent.

FIVE OYO STATE ATHLETES QUALIFY TO REPRESENT NIGERIA AT THE CANADA OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP  By Ayobami Fakorede  The Oyo State Government is proud to announce that five athletes from its Rowing, Canoe, and Sailing team have earned the honour of representing Nigeria at the national level, following their outstanding performance at the just concluded National Canoe Sprint/Kayak Trials. The trials, which form part of the 2026 programme of activities of the National Rowing, Canoe and Sailing Federation, were held at Jabi Lake, Abuja, from March 22 to 23, 2026.
