If The NFF Calls Me, I’ll Be Glad To Come’ – Utaka Open to Coaching Super Eagles

Former Nigerian international John Utaka has expressed his willingness to take charge of the Super Eagles if given the opportunity by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

Utaka, who was recently appointed head coach of Montpellier’s women’s football team in France’s Division 1 Féminine, made the declaration during an interview with Brila FM.

“If the NFF calls me, I’ll be glad to come,” he said. “The job is to coach the players to the maximum.”

The ex-Portsmouth forward enjoyed a distinguished international career, earning 48 caps and scoring six goals for Nigeria. He was part of the squad that claimed bronze at the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations in Tunisia and also represented the country at the 2002 and 2010 FIFA World Cups.
