PROMISE KEPT: AKINLOYE FULFILS SUNDAY PLEDGE, DELIVERS TWO SOLAR STREET LIGHTS TO IDIORO COMMUNITY

In a swift demonstration of commitment to grassroots development and keeping promises, Hon. Abiola Abdulrazaq Akinloye, House of Assembly candidate for Ibadan North-East Constituency 02 on the platform of the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM), has fulfilled a pledge made to residents of Idioro Community, Oke Adu.

Hon. Akinloye delivered two sets of solar street lights to the community, fulfilling a promise he made during a meeting with members of the community on Sunday this week.

During the meeting, Akinloye listened to the concerns and needs of residents, following which he pledged to provide two solar street lights to address the community’s need for improved lighting. Within days of making the commitment, the promised solar lights were delivered.

The development has been described as a practical demonstration of responsive and people-oriented engagement, particularly at the grassroots where communities often require timely interventions to address basic infrastructure needs.

The solar street lights are expected to improve visibility within Idioro, particularly at night, while contributing to a safer and more conducive environment for residents and other members of the community.

The fulfilment of the pledge has also reinforced Akinloye’s emphasis on integrity, accountability and service, with the intervention coming shortly after the commitment was made.

For residents of Idioro Community, the delivery represents more than the provision of infrastructure; it is also a demonstration that commitments made during community engagements can be followed by concrete action.

The intervention further underscores Hon. Akinloye’s grassroots approach as he continues his engagements with communities across Ibadan North-East Constituency 02, with a focus on identifying local needs and responding to them through practical initiatives.
