 Akinloye Celebrates Makinde, Wife on Conferment of Aare and Yeye Aare Asoludero Titles, Hails Honour as Recognition of Service

The A.P.M House of Assembly Candidate for Ibadan North-East Constituency 2, Hon. Akinloye Abdulrazaq Abiola, has congratulated the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, and his wife, Mrs. Tamunominini Makinde, on their conferment with the prestigious chieftaincy titles of Aare and Yeye Aare Asoludero of Ibarapaland, respectively.


The titles were conferred by the Eleruwa of Eruwa, Oba Samuel Adegbola, Ajobo Olurin I, during the commissioning of the newly completed Eleruwa Palace on Saturday.


In his congratulatory message, Hon. Akinloye described the honour as a symbolic recognition of the Makindes’ dedication to public service, community development, peace-building and the advancement of Oyo State.


He noted that traditional titles of such significance carry deep cultural and historical meaning, stressing that the recognition bestowed on the governor and his wife reflects the value placed on their contributions to the people and communities they serve.


According to him, Governor Makinde’s administration has continued to demonstrate a strong commitment to infrastructure, economic development, good governance and policies aimed at improving the quality of life of residents across Oyo State.


> “The conferment of the Aare Asoludero and Yeye Aare Asoludero titles on Governor Seyi Makinde and his distinguished wife is a remarkable honour and a testament to their contributions to the peace, development and progress of our dear state.




> “This recognition by the Eleruwa and the people of Ibarapaland is not merely a traditional honour; it is also an appreciation of leadership, service and commitment to the people.”




Hon. Akinloye further commended Governor Makinde for maintaining what he described as a purposeful and development-driven approach to governance, particularly in areas of infrastructure, economic growth, security and human capital development.


He also acknowledged the important role played by Mrs. Tamunominini Makinde in supporting the governor and championing initiatives that promote the welfare and wellbeing of vulnerable members of society.


> “Mrs. Makinde has distinguished herself through her humility, compassion and commitment to humanitarian and social causes. Her contributions continue to complement the administration’s broader vision of a better and more inclusive Oyo State.”




The A.P.M candidate extended his congratulations to the Eleruwa of Eruwa, the traditional council and the entire people of Ibarapaland, describing the commissioning of the new palace as a significant milestone in the preservation of Yoruba culture, tradition and royal heritage.


Hon. Akinloye prayed for continued wisdom, strength and good health for Governor Makinde and his wife, while wishing them a successful tenure of service and greater accomplishments in the years ahead.
