Remo Stars Ladies and Robo Queens Cruise to the Final Lap of the Queen’s Cup.👑⚽




Remo Stars Ladies and Robo Queens have clinched the two finalists spots in the maiden edition of the Queens Cup Southwest Preseason Tourney at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan.


Remo Stars outclassed Nakamura FA 5-0, while Robo Queens defeated Dannaz Ladies 4-1 to reach the final.

Remo Stars Ladies skipper, Subomi Ogundele broke the deadlock of the encounter a minute before halftime despite a torrid first 45 minutes.


Substitute, Chiamaka Ojialor doubled the NWFL Premiership giant lead four minutes into the second half. Daniella Fagbenro 76th minute penalty extended the Sky Blue Ladies lead. 


Oluwaseyi Arubo  87th minute strike complimented Ojialor brace in the 90th minute.

NSC Constitutes Organizing Team for 2027 Africa School Games

The National Sports Commission (NSC) has announced a 21-man Local Organizing Committee (LOC) for the Africa School Games, slated to hold in Abuja, Nigeria, in 2027. Nigeria was unanimously announced as the host of the 2027 edition of the Games during an extraordinary session of the ANOCA Executive Committee held on the sidelines. The NSC has been proactive in putting together a world class event, which prompted its leadership to announce the LOC.
