2025 NPFL-winning coach Daniel Ogunmodede will no longer continue as Remo Stars manager

2025 NPFL-winning coach Daniel Ogunmodede will no longer continue as Remo Stars manager, with the club currently sitting 17th on the table and holding three games in hand.

The Super Eagles assistant coach, who penned a three-year contract extension with the Ikenne-based side in August 2024, departs with two seasons left on his deal.

Ogunmodede, fondly known as Ijaball, guided Remo Stars to historic heights, including their NPFL title triumph and CAF inter-club appearances, but a difficult start to the new campaign has now brought his tenure to an abrupt end.
