Kotoko Shift CAF Confederation Cup Clash with Kwara United to Accra

Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko will play their CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round home tie against Nigeria’s Kwara United in Accra, instead of their traditional base in Kumasi.

The switch is due to the ongoing renovations at the Baba Yara Stadium, forcing the Porcupine Warriors to relocate the match to the Accra Sports Stadium—currently the only CAF-approved venue in Ghana for the competition.

The home leg is scheduled to hold between September 19 and 21, 2025, while the reverse fixture will take place at a yet-to-be-confirmed venue between September 26 and 28, 2025.
